A basic how-to in creating and administering Performance Matters assessments for high school science teachers. Training will have a focus on navigating the item libraries, best practices for naming and saving tests, and a walk-though on how to administer assessments to students. Teachers will also have time to practice.
Teachers will review the science curriculum guides and discuss upcoming topics and objectives. New ideas for asynchronous activities that match these topics will be shared in a collaborative fashion.
This session we will continue our professional development with virtual intervention! After a review over Tier 3 math intervention and the RPS RTI process virtually, we will explore encouraging a growth mindset, integrating math intervention, and formatively assessing students for progress monitoring.
